Information used by this website

When you sign in with Google, we receive your verified email address and a Google account identifier. We use these to sign you in, connect you to your own submissions, and protect access. We do not receive your Google password or request access to your Gmail, contacts, or Google Drive.

When you submit an idea, we store its title, theme, description, submission time, review status and review time, and any optional credit name and permission you provide. Please do not include sensitive personal information in an idea.

Private ideas and public credit

Ideas submitted through our website are available to the submitting account and the POLYTENS owner, rather than other players. POLYTENS uses them to review suggestions and develop possible maps. Your email is not displayed alongside your ideas to other players. If your idea is selected, your chosen credit name may be published only when you have given permission. Discord discussions are separate and may be visible to other server members.

Hosting and service providers

Cloudflare delivers and protects this website and stores its private ideas database. Google provides account sign-in. These providers process information needed to operate their services, such as network and request information, under their own policies. This website does not sell Google account information or use it for advertising. Google access and ID tokens are not retained after sign-in verification.

Links to Steam, Discord, Instagram, X, and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Cookies and browser storage

We use a secure sign-in session cookie lasting up to seven days and a short-lived login security cookie lasting up to ten minutes. Signing out invalidates your website session. Your selected language is saved in your browser so the site can remember it. These features support the website's operation.

Retention and your choices

Ideas remain available for review and development until removed. Expired sessions cannot be used and are cleaned up during subsequent sign-ins. You can browse the public website without signing in or submitting an idea.

To request a copy, correction, or deletion of your submitted information, or to withdraw permission for future public credit, contact support@polytens.com. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder. You can also remove this website's Google connection from your Google account; contact us separately to request deletion of existing submissions.
